You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why - SANTA CLAUSE IS COMING TO TOWN! :)

Hey hey hey,

my first american christmas ist over, and it was different, very christmassyyy and a good time!

The special christmas program started on frieday, the 21. of December, with the "live nativity scene". A lot of kids played the Christmas story and we ate cookies and other stuff...
On sunday we had the actual christmas programm with christmassongs, other kids playing their instruments and the different guys reading the christmas story :).
 In the morning of the 24 th I had practice... In germany we probably would never have practice on the 24 th, but here we had. Everybody was so excitied, because christmas was "tomorrow" and I just thought, "Christmas is today guys" :P..
After I came home I cleaned my room, made my laundry and wrapped my presents, which I finished the night before!
(For my three neices for example I wrote with permanent markers on a cup and baked them in the oven for 350 degrees, 1/2 h)
At six o'clock we all went to the church and had a small "get together" and the christmas eve service.
After that we (my hostperents, their parents, their kids and grandkids) came home and ate different snacks, denise and I prepared before... We got cookies and little sweet things, but you also could eat veggies with dip, sandwiches or chips!
When everybody finished eating, maybe at 8 o'clock, we went down in our basement, because there we have room for everybody to sit and we also have a tree down there.
The adults didn't want to give presents to each other and so only the kids, me included, got a few presents! :)
A tradition is, that everybody gets a new pyjama at chrismas eve and wears it the next night and in the morning while unwrapping all the presents santa brouht!!
I got a angry bird pyjama with really smooth pyjama pans ;) It's sooooo comfortable!:P
I also got nailpolish, socks, hairtighs, cuddly slippers for at home, a green selfmade had and gloves from my grandma, and a electrical pictureframe where you can put in your camera card and see your pictures changing every 5 seconds :)!! Those presents I got from the family, thats why I could see them before christmasmorning! :)
At 11:00 pm everybody went home and I was glad to go to bed after a tiring day, but I was already excited for the morning... We actually had the presents under the tree maybe a week before the 25th! Thats kind of usual here! So I could see all the packages with my name on there and I figured what yould be in there..
 At 6 am in the morning I heared a bell ringing but I was so tired that I didn't want to stand up first. I ended up standing up, cause I really had to go to the bathroom and then I was already awake :D!
In front of my door I saw a red sock with my name on there! In there I found a orange some candy and the first three presents! I got a microstick for pictures and so on, and I got really pretty bracelets!:) Then we started to unwrap all the other presents...
I got two more pyjama pans, a necklace, a drawing set, a game, a keychain with my name on it, a "teamUSA" shirt, some bodyshop products, gloves, a green waterbottle for school, two movies, inearplugs for my i phone and and and and! I can't even remember everything...
When everybody was done we just hung out till everybody came back over again at 2 pm, I skyped with friends and family and I tried out a few presents. I also made a cheesecake for later!
When everybody arrived we had the christmas dinner with ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, sqash, stuffing, cranberrysause, pickles, black olives, differend kind of bread and gravy!
The rest of the day we talked and played with the kids and just sat together. Later we ate cakes and dessert...

And even if we did't do anything exhausting I was ready for bed at the end of the day!:)

That's already all... tomorrow we are going to meet some of daves siblings and their families and than its almost new years eve!!

Just Christmas: sliding, making cookies, and hearing christmas music ...

Hey guys :)
It's the 22 December and I had a very nice day... Very christmassssy!
This morning my 2 nieces came and we went outside in the snow, after I made pancakes and cleaned my room. It was so much fun! Behind our house we have a big field, or better almost around our house. If you look at the house in front it looks like it would have only one level, but if you go around and to the back you can see the basement and the upstairs. That means, that the house it on a hill kind of! So we just had to go outside and we had a really good place to go sliding. And thats what we did. We slid down the hill, and played in the snow! It was just fuuuuuuuun!:) And I have really warm clothes, so i wasn't even cold.

After that I went over to my neighbors and asked the girl in my age (she is also in my cheerteam), if she would like to come over and go in the hot top and stuff.
And thats what we did. We went in the hot top while it was snowing outside. At 2 o'clock, or something like that we took a short shower and ate lunch. After that we put frosting and spakles on the cut out cookies we made the other day. Than we played wii and BreAnn and me made Oreo Balls, (sooooo good!:) and other stuff, while we heared christmas music...

BreAnn is crushing the oreo cookies...

Tadaaaa, there they are!:) You can't really see them, but they are made out of the oreo cookies and cream cheese with a chocolate coat ;)

That's how they are supposed to look like...

Now I'm tired and even more excited for christmas!!
