Month 5:)

Hey there!:)

It feels like i didn't post in a few weeks... Thats because i'm really busy all the time and something is always going on! We have kids playing at home all day long and there is always something fun to do. Even if its only hanging out!

But togay I tought I could write about the ice hockey game I went to on saturday! I ve never been to one before...
But in the morning on saturday we went to my mums friends house, because she had a "thirtyone" party. Thirtyone is like "tupperware", just in bags and purses and other similar things. To actually get a product you have to order it at a party!
http://www.thirtyonegifts.com/
We ate lunch there and had coffee and cookies...

After that, around 2pm we went home and cleand up the house. At four we took the boys over to nana (my mums mum)'s house, because they had a sleepover there. That way we didn't have to come home so early. After that we drove to Binghamton, where the arena is, and went shopping... We got wood for the new bathroomclothet that dad is going to build, and I got a shirt that is grey and has the american flag sewed onto it!
To prevent that we would have to buy expensive treats at the arena, we got ice cream at mac donalds, and were set to go.

The game started at 7:05 pm and included 3 parts. It was really exciting to watch, because the players are allowed to play really rough and push each other around. There was also a fist fight, because two players got so mad at each other. They threw their gloves and helmets away and fought until one of them was laying on the ground. That ment for them, that they were out of the whole game. The croud was screaming and clapping their hands. First I was kind of shocked, because I didn't know that they were allowed to do that. But than it was fun to watch!:D
Also fun was to watch crazy fans! There was one old guy that screamed some random words at the players and everybody looked at him!:) He danced around and was just too weired...
Between the tree parts there were break showes on the ice were people played games against each other, and the croud tried to catch t-shirts! On both sides of the arena there were big screens! One in a while they had a couple on there. They filmed fans, and than they had to kiss each other:D Like in a movie...:):)

Thats already all... On saturday we have the boy basketball sectional finals in the same arena, too. And we are cheering there!:)

And the last thing I m gonna tell you is, that my school is going to make a HARLEMSSHAKE in the gym:D! For people who don't know what it is(I didn't know it at first either)...
Its a random place where one person is dancing, and than after a few minutes, people start dancing in weird costumes and make random movements... Its just hillarious!! :)
You have to watch it!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hpEnLtqUDg
or, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XG1ZoOb-6lM !

We will see how its going to turn out :)!

Huggggggs and kissses :) Lotti

ONLY 7 MORE WEEKS TILL MY MUMI COMES TO VISIT !:)

NEMO ;)

Yesterday we had an early dismissal at 11:30 am, because the snowstorm "nemo" was supposed to start at 1 o'clock! The drama "A midsummer nights dream" was canceled and the last boys-baskedball game, too. We had a fun night at home, ordered chinese food and watched an old disney movie... "The sound of music" or something like this!

Today is saturday and I have cheerpractice for the NEW YORK STATE competition. We all have to learn to do tripple jumps and stuff like this... Its going to be hard work, but we really want to do it!:)

Yeees, oh, and on thursdaynight Katie and I went to the play of the drama club already:) It was very hard to understand, even for americans, because of the "old" languarge, but it was fun.

Bye bye, Lotti <3

Disney on ice:)

Good morning,

its february and it is really cold outside... but thats okay, because there are a lot of different things we can do inside;)!

Yesterday my whole family went to "Disney on ice". It was in a arena in binghamton (30 min away). The show was at 1 o'clock and we left here maybe an hour earlier... When we arrived we had an half an hour left and we walked around looking at all those stocks full with disney stuff, shirts and candy!

The show was really nice and even if I didn't know all of the Disney movies, it was fun!:)
family!

And yesterday night the "Super- Bowl" was on TV!:) The super-bowl is the biggest footballgame in the US. It is once a year the final game. Everybody is watching it... But the most interesting part are the commercials :D The commercials are all never played before and the people have to pay millions of dollars for having a few seconds of the commercial time:)

Yeeep, greets, lotti<3

AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!:)

Hey hey,

today we had our third competition and we did really good. This time we didn't win with the routine, but we won the spirit award and we did win the trophy that goes around every year.. We got it last year and this year again! (We are the first team that has it two years in a row)...

There is a little story to tis trophy! I think it was 1995, in Dryden, the village were the competition was this year and al the other years, too, two cheerleaders were in a disturbing way murderd at their house. It was a neighbor and the girls parents were not home...
...to remember the girls the cheerleaders user to were a purple sock on their left foot (purple and white are the schoolcolors of Dryden!). This tradition stoped some day, but our team did it again this year. We wore a black sock with a purple bow on there! And with the slogan "We will never forgett" :)!

We didn't win the whole thing, but after the competition the women that leads the New York state competition came to our coach and invited us! WE ARE GOING TO BE ON TV...
